Megrim is a flat fish from the turbot family. It is commonly prepared and cooked as you would Plaice, but is no competition for flavour or texture.  Megrim is available with the Top Skin removed, or as fillets with skin on or off.

Flavour wise this fish doesn't have a great deal so is ideal to be used in stock or as fishcakes where it isn't the main focal point. It can also be bread crumbed and eaten as fillets.
